MILLERSBURG-
David C. McKinnon, 89, of 1700 South Lincoln Ave. in Lebanon passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Lebanon VA.
He was born in Abington, PA, the son of the late David J., and Edna (Buxton) McKinnon. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps. His service record included China Burma Theatre, WW II.
He had retired from David H. Lightkep Lawn and Garden , Jarrettown, PA
He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Millersburg.
He was a former member and custodian of the Jarrettown Evangelical Congregational Church and Jarrettown U.M. Church. He was a ham radio operator and had his private pilots license. He was formerly of Ambler, Jarrettown and also Millersburg
He was the widower of Eleanore M.(Theel) McKinnon
He is survived by :Daughter, Kathleen Boyer and her husband, Russell of Halifax; Son, David McKinnon and his wife Debra, of Horsham, Sister, Margaret Vderdecchio, Wyncote; Granddaughter , Rayna McKinnon of Harleyville; Step-Grandaughter, Crystal Dreher and her husband Mark, of Millersburg, Two Step-Great Grandchildren, Tyler and Kylie Dreher; Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, James and SIster, Charlotte.
Funeral Services with a Military Honorguard and Bagpipes will be held Wednesday, March 3 at 11:00 AM at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA
