MILLERSBURG- Lee N. Bowman age 89, of 255 West St. passed away on Friday, February 5, 2010 at his residence.
A native of Millersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Omega and Forda Noblit Bowman. Lee was a veteran of the US Army during WW II. He retired from Brubaker Tool Co. in Millersburg. He was a member of Word of Life chapel in Halifax and the Millersburg Moose Lodge #59.
Survivors include a daughter Bonnie L. Ackerman and her husband Gary of Seminole, FL; two grandsons Todd Blyler of Lorton, VA and David Blyler of North Carolina; two great grandchildren Griffin Blyler and Jennifer Blyler; and several nieces & nephews; he was preceded in death by a brother Lester and two sisters Winifred Zales and Marcella Stine.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday February 11, 2010 at 11:00 am at Word of Life Chapel, 27 Fellowship Drive in Halifax with Rev. Robert Baer officiating. A flag presentation and playing of taps will conclude the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
