MILLERSBURG
Stephen E. Forney-46- of Benton, PA and formerly of Millersburg passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Saturday, March 17, 1962 in Harrisburg, PA, Son of Harry E. Forney of Benton and the late Carolyn Carvell Forney.
He was a graduate of Millersburg High School and Shippensburg University with a bachelors degree in jounalism and a masters degree in english.
He was a professor at Kyungwoon University in Gumi, South Korea.
He was a member of Lamda Chi Alpha fraternity, Shippensburg chapter.
Surviving in addition to his father is a Brother, James Forney of Millersburg.
In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lester & Ruth Forney and his maternal grandparents George & Celetus Carvell.
Due to renovations at our Millersburg location Services will be held at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Elizabethville on Thursday June 12, 2008 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Doug Compton officiating.
Inurnment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg.
Friends will be received from 6:30 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
