HALIFAX – Joan L. (Bailey) Cassell, 67, of 105 N. 5th St. in Halifax passed away Thursday, March 11th at home.
She was born on September 19, 1942 in Rye, PA the daughter of the late George and Ida (Wolfe) Bailey.
She is survived by her daughter Beth Ritchie of Lykens, her sons Robert Cassell and his wife Mary Jane of Millersburg, David Cassell and his wife Michelle of Halifax, Charles "Billy" Cassell of Millersburg, and Russell "Butch" Cassell of Millersburg; and her grandchildren Keyton, Dominique, Anthony, James, Zackariah, Gage, Jennifer, Angela, and Mark; and one great grandson Cameron. She is also survived by her sisters Margaret Spertzel, Shirley Neibert, Linda Benstead, and brother Robert Bailey.
She was preceded in death by a son Richard Cassell and a brother George Bailey.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 16th at 11:00 AM at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes, Inc., Millersburg with a visitation from 10 – 11 AM. Burial will be at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax. To sign the online guest book go to www.hbfuneralhomes.com.
