MILLERSBURG
Robert L. George, 87 , of Route 25, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born in Duncannon, PA, he was the son of the late John, and Mary (Klinepeter) George.
He retired from the former TRW in Harrisburg. He was a member of the TRW pioneers.
He attended the Paxton Bible Church, Millersburg.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Rosie L. (Snyder) George; Son, Bobby L. George, husband of Florence, Auburndale, FL; Daughter Darlene, wife of Ray Stockman of York Haven, PA; Brother, Clyde George and sister Martha Lenker, both of Millersburg; 3 Grandchildren, Heidi Ruff of Auburndale, FL; Rebekah Halstead of Baltimore, MD and John Stockman of York Haven, PA.
He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Mabel George, Ethel Russell, and Olive Russell; Brother, Ralph George..
The family will receive friendsTuesday , March 2, 2010 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday, March 3 from 1-2 PM at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Millersburg.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 3 at 2 PM at the funeral home.
Burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax, Dauphin.
